Missing software on my Mac: eWallet

For quite some time I have been using eWallet. First on my PocketPC in combination with my desktop. Then after a few years on my iPhone in combination with my Windows desktop. Recently I have switched to a Mac and eWallet is not yet available for the Mac. Ok, they are working on it and there even is a preview of the upcoming Mac version, but this is not as useful as e.g. the full Windows version.

Search and synchronization with my iPhone does not work. Copy and paste also does not seem to work. Now I know how much I was depending on this piece of software. Every time I manually copy a complex generated password I wish their Mac version was finished ;-)

iPad Camera Connection Kit – Will It Work On Other iDevices?

The Apple site lists some very nice iPad accessories. I think the keyboard dock and the multi functional case are beautiful. But what about the iPad Camera Connection Kit? I was wondering whether this will work on an iPod or iPhone as well. It would be very nice if it is possible to use your iDevice as an extra photo backup during holidays.

In the past they had a camera connector which was some sort of USB port to attach your camera to your iPod. This was very slow and thus a huge battery drain. Perhaps with this new accessory Apple might have sorted it out. We will probably just have to wait and see.

If it will work I just hope they will create a CompactFlash version as well ;-)

eWallet 7 successfully installed

A few days ago I bought the new eWallet version. After installation I was unable to start the software on my PC. But yesterday I checked the website. They have released an updated version that works perfectly!

So for me the problemthe problem was fixed in three days. Not bad for a software company.

The sync with my iPhone worked immediately as well. Great!

I really appreciate this piece of software. Since 2000 I have a PDA and this piece of software was one of the first pieces of software that I bought for it. It is very convenient to always carry your passwords with you. The synchronise-with-PC-software feature makes it a winner!

When I just bought my iPhone I really missed software like this. Fortunately they released a iPhone version! After a number of updates this can also be synchronised with the desktop software. They also added search functionality after a few updates.

By using this software I can use very complex passwords that I cannot remember myself. This gives me a sense of extra security. I can recommend it to everyone!
