Picasa is my photo collection management tool by choice. I am very pleased with the face recognition capabilities. My collection still needs a lot of work regarding the “tagging of persons”.
It would help a lot if it was possible to create a tree like metadata structure. And then that tags and/or persons would be the leafs in this tree like structure. It should be possible to fold an unfold branches. This would save me from having to scroll through hundreds of persons 
Well, maybe not that interesting to include in the next release, but you never know…
