qTranslate plugin causing date / time issues

I am using the qTranslate WordPress plugin to make my site multilingual. Tonight after upgrading WordPress and various plugins I noticed strange text where a date and time should be. E.g. the text “posted on” was followed by something like %A %B %e%q… etc. After searching the Internet for a while it turned out that this has to do with the qTranslate plugin.

Do not set it to use an emulated function. Then the problem will be fixed.

This can be found under “Advanced Settings” for qTranslate:

Do not pick the first two options!

Good luck!
